FOUND Postcards

Over the last few months I have been quite overwhelmed by the response to these postcard boxes in the waiting rooms and public spaces of the Tavistock Centre.

The resulting collection of postcards describing things that patients, visitors and staff have 'found' at the Tavistock Centre is fascinating and varied and collectively forms a very meaningful tribute to the impartant work that is done at the Tavi. 

I am slowly stitching these responses into a textile piece - a patchwork that will hang at the Tavi. I have been holding informal 'public sewing sessions' on Thursday afternoons at the where people are able to join me in stitching these postcards.
